E-commerce technologies are software programs or platforms that allow people to buy and sell products or services online. E-commerce sells anything over the Internet, while enterprise e-commerce sells solutions to large companies. E-commerce is a type of business that involves exchanging goods and services for other forms of payment. 

What is a Point of Sale (POS) Transaction?

A point of sale (POS) transaction is a financial transaction that occurs when a customer purchases from a business using a debit, credit, prepaid card, or QR scanning. The transaction involves transferring funds from the customer's payment method to the merchant's account. POS transactions can be conducted in person or online, and are important for completing purchases and providing valuable data for financial management and analysis.

QR Codes were developed in 1994 by the Japanese corporation Denso Wave—a division of Denso, which is a subsidiary of the automobile company Toyota Motor Corporation—to track automobile parts during the assembly process
Who launched the QR code in India? A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, the former President of India, is credited with introducing QR codes to India. The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) launched QR payments in India in December 2016 through its Unified Payments Interface (UPI) platform. The NPCI, in partnership with Mastercard and Visa, developed Bharat QR, a QR code-based digital payment mechanism.
